Privacy and cookies

This page explains what nonnasgarden.ca collects when you visit, which cookies it uses, and the choice you have. Nonna’s Garden is at an early stage: the site has no forms, accounts, or shop, so it never asks you for personal information.

Your choice

One tool on this site is optional: HubSpot’s tracking code. It runs only if you choose “Allow” on the notice shown on your first visit. If you choose “Decline”, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it never loads.

You can change your mind at any time. Withdrawing deletes the HubSpot cookies from this browser.

What runs on every visit

Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Visitor counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. We see totals only.
nonna_consent, a first-party cookie that remembers your choice on the notice so we do not ask again. It lasts 12 months.

What runs only with your permission

HubSpot, Inc. provides the customer relationship tool we use. With your permission its tracking code records the pages you view and how you arrived, so that if you later get in touch we can see what you were interested in. HubSpot stores this data in the United States. It sets these cookies (HubSpot sets the exact lifetimes, so treat these as typical):

hubspotutk and __hstc: recognise your browser across visits. About 6 months.
__hssc: tracks the current visit. About 30 minutes.
__hssrc: notes whether your browser was restarted. Ends when you close the browser.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, run advertising trackers, or use the data above for anything other than understanding interest in Nonna’s Garden.
